Registered Nurse – Emergency Generalist | Ceduna, SA

Cornerstone Medical Recruitment is seeking confident Emergency Generalist Registered Nurses to join a Multi-Purpose Service in Ceduna, South Australia. Multiple contract dates are available, including opportunities across the Christmas and New Year period.

Contract Dates

• 17 October 2026 – 13 November 2026
• 12 December 2026 – 8 January 2027
• 17 October 2026 – 8 January 2027
• 1 October 2026 – 8 January 2027
• Roles starting in Janurary and beyond!

The Role

You will work across the Emergency and Acute units within a rural Multi-Purpose Service that includes:

• 15 acute overnight beds
• Four day-only beds
• Two dialysis chairs
• 38 high and low-level aged-care beds
• Approximately 5–10 Emergency presentations per day

You must be confident working independently alongside one Enrolled Nurse. As the existing team is relatively junior, strong Emergency experience, sound clinical judgement and the ability to manage presentations with minimal support are essential.

This role is best suited to an experienced rural or Emergency Nurse who can hit the ground running and confidently support the wider team.

Requirements

To be considered, you must have:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum of three years’ recent Emergency Department experience
• Current Advanced Life Support certification, Resus and Triage
• Strong acute and emergency clinical skills
• Confidence working independently in a rural setting
• Ability to work across Emergency and Acute Care
• Sunrise EMR training completed before commencement or willingness to ontain (we can help you book!)
• Australian working rights
